Maria Zuniga Loaysiga (20 yers old).

Hi I am Maria Zuniga I am 20 years old and I live in Santa Rosa neighborhood, I have six brothers and five sisters, but two brothers died. I am the fifth of all of them. Actually I live with my father Felix Zuniga and my mother Dominga Loaysiga six brothers and severals nephews.

My childhood was difficult with a lot of economic problems, and my parents with a lot of difficulty and prohibitions could sended me to study until first year of high school. I didn’t attend the school for two years due to my parents couldn’t continue paying it. One day, thank to a friend I knew Carita Feliz school, and Mr. Kolind who until now have helped me much, I could continue studying and actually I am studying on Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm the high school at Instituto Nacional de Oriente. I have been four years in Carita Feliz and I’ve been a guide for Santa Rosa neighborhood.

I would like to finish my studios so I’ll be able to study a career in the future, there are two things I like English and computer, I hope God continues helping Carita Feliz school for many years. Because without the school my dreams won’t come true.

They help me with medicine when I am sick because medicine is too expensive and my parents can’t by them. And the dinner than Mr. Kolind provides all night because there are occations that my father doesn’t work and the money isn’t enough to eat. That’s why I am grateful with Carita Feliz school and Mr. Kolind, because my life has improved little to little and in an especial way to Mr Jorn and Estrid from Demmark to help me continue my studies and all the help they gave to my family I have the in my heart, thanks everybody.

One typical day in my life, I get up at 5:00 am to help to my nephews to get dress to go to school, to cook the breakfast so they get on time to class after that I help to my mom to clean the house and then I wash my clothe and my nephew’s clothe and other people’s to have some income to eat. After that at 11:00 am I watch tv for fun, at 12:00 I help to cook the lunch and I serve it to my nephews.

After that in the afternoon I study and do my homework, if I don’t have study I take care of my nephews. Until 3:00 pm I take a bath and get dress to go to Cartia Feliz School to have some dinner.

At 7:oo pm after eat dinner I go home to watch tv at 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm I go to bed to live more day in my life, which changed much since I come to Carita Feliz school.
