Carita Feliz has a number of outreach initiatives - some ongoing while others occur annually. See also sponsored classes.

Toothbrush donation and distribution
The center has visits from individuals who wish to contribute their own time, energy and money into helping the children. One of the most successful of these was a visit by Mario Garcia of Houston, Texas. He and his family visited the center in July 2004 and distributed more than 1,500 toothbrushes and toothpaste in the local community. You can read more about this here.
