Costs of sponsoring a class
Carita Feliz is very open about the costs of running the center and other activities and we are particularly proud of the low costs we have worked hard to achieve.

There are many children who cannot afford to buy the uniform and materials for school or to pay the monthly school fee. So they never receive primary or secondary school education. Several classes have been sponsored since this program began.

1 x Pair of white socks

In order to go to school, children in Nicaragua must bring their own school materials and must show that they have these during registration (i.e. they can't be bought throughout the year as needed). The specifications for school materials are as follows:
