Dentistas sin Fronteras
Dentists without Borders have visited Carita Feliz for the past two years and through their skilled (and free) dental treatment, make an incredible difference to the local community.

In July 2004, more than 30 dentists from Spain visited the center as part of a one month tour of Nicaragua organised by Caritas Diosesanas de Nicaragua. They are young qualified dentists who gain substantial experience because of the number of patients they see and the extent of dental hygiene problems in Nicaragua. The dentists pay for their own travel and accommodation; Carita Feliz provides the patients. The dentists offer tooth extraction, porcelain caps and teeth cleaning.

This visit was a follow-up from their visit in 2003 and in only 4 days, the team attended 750 people!
