Carita Feliz currently has 566 students in the 38 classes. There are also a number of sponsored classes.

Most day-time activities are classes where children can attend Academic, Recreational or Vocational classes. The emphasis of all classes is on teaching only relevant information – topics that can have a direct application to everyday life.

There are now almost 20 teachers teaching 38 subjects. Students enroll themselves each three months into a class in the list below and then, on completion take an exam. Those that pass the exam are given a guarantee to secure their place in the next enrollment. In the first trimester of 2005, more than 500 new children were enrolled.

Academic: English, Spanish, Mathematics, Computer studies, Kindergarten & adult literacy.

Recreation: Baseball, boys and girls soccer, modern and folkloric dancing, aerobics, arts & crafts, recorder, guitar & choir.

Vocational: Seamstress course, tailor course, beauty school, crochet, smocking, baking & cooking.
