Carnival
On Saturday, 10th July 2004, Granada had its first carnival thanks to Carita Feliz. The procession passed through the streets of Granada, ending in the Parque Central where drummers and dancers as well as an estimated 3,000 children performed for the gathered audience.

The drummers have assisted in making the drums from flowerpots and fiber glass and the dancers were wearing costumes designed and made in the center. The carnival was the culmination of 4 months of intensive preparation led by a young Danish couple, Trine Christiansen and Peter Gårdsøe.
